The Long-Haired Health Chihuahua Guarantee On Lifetime
Genetic Health
All of our Long-Haired
Chihuahua puppies are guaranteed to be in good health at the time of purchase and free from visible signs of contagious, infectious, or communicable disease.
Each puppy receives age-appropriate veterinary care prior to placement. We strongly recommend that your puppy be examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase.
Should a licensed veterinarian determine that your puppy was medically unfit for sale due to a pre-existing condition present before purchase, we will gladly accept the puppy’s return and provide a full refund of the purchase price.
We proudly offer a lifetime genetic health guarantee covering serious hereditary or congenital conditions that significantly impact your puppy’s long-term quality of life.
If your Chihuahua is diagnosed with a qualifying hereditary condition by a licensed veterinarian, we may, at our discretion:
- Refund up to 100% of the original purchase price, or
- Contribute toward veterinary treatment expenses up to the original purchase price.
We reserve the right to request a second veterinary opinion at our expense before final determination of any claim.
Covered Genetic & Hereditary Conditions
Our breeding program carefully selects for health, sound structure, and temperament to help minimize inherited health concerns commonly associated with the Chihuahua breed.
Conditions covered under our genetic health guarantee include:
Luxating Patella
A hereditary orthopedic condition involving displacement of the kneecap.
Congenital Heart Conditions
Including Mitral Valve Disease and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA).
Hydrocephalus
A neurological condition involving abnormal fluid accumulation within the brain.
Tracheal Collapse
A respiratory condition affecting the airway and breathing function.
Scleritis
An inflammatory eye condition that may affect vision and comfort.

Spay & Neuter Policy
To support healthy skeletal, hormonal, and physical development, we strongly recommend delaying spaying or neutering until your Chihuahua has reached at least 24 months of age unless medically necessary and recommended by a licensed veterinarian.
Early spay or neuter procedures performed before full maturity may increase the risk of certain orthopedic, developmental, and hormonal health concerns.
For this reason, our genetic health guarantee becomes void if the puppy is spayed or neutered before 24 months of age without written veterinary medical justification.
Exceptions may be considered in cases involving documented medical necessity.
Registration & Breeding Rights
Our puppies are placed either as companion pets or with approved breeding rights depending on the individual puppy and placement agreement.
Companion Homes
Puppies placed as companions are sold on a limited registration basis unless otherwise specified in writing. These puppies are intended to be cherished family companions and are not sold for breeding purposes.
Full Breeding Rights
Select puppies may be offered with full breeding rights to approved breeding programs. Breeding rights are granted solely at our discretion and may involve additional contractual agreements and pricing.
We reserve the right to refuse breeding rights at our sole discretion.
