Chihuahua Puppies AZ
WeTruly Offer Worry Fee One Of A Kind Chihuahua Puppies
We at Chihuahua Puppies AZ are so proud to stand behind our work the four-legged family members. Chihuahua Puppies AZ is our dog breeding business name, and we are Carmen and Ed Taylor, and we raise Long Haired Chihuahua puppies in Arizona. At about 4000 feet up in Central Arizona, it’s still desert, but about 10 degrees cooler than down in Phoenix. Though we do get frost and a little snow once in a while in winter, our Chihuahua Puppies AZ still go outside a few times per day. Their long coats keep them warmer than their short haired cousins, and they seem to enjoy sniffing, playing, and eating mesquite beans that have fallen.
The Chihuahua Puppies AZ Life’s
We let them eat the beans because where they are originally from in Mexico, their ancestors would certainly have done the same, just as coyotes do. They enjoy it; the beans are organic, provide roughage, simple carbohydrates, and plant proteins; and their teeth get cleaned. We also do not kennel our dogs, they are free-roaming in the house with us. They all have their own chairs to sit in and dog beds to lay on. We also have play-mats with blankets and pillows, where they love to play with each other.
What We Feed, At Chihuahua Puppies AZ And Why
We put years of research in to what is best for a dog and its health. That’s why we try to stay on a natural diet, just like their wild relatives. We feed a raw diet, and we stay away from preservatives and other chemicals that you can find in the food from stores. We feed mainly Dry frozen raw, and home Cooked foods, no pork though. We dehydrated the some meats, including making our own treats by dehydrated meat strips. We’re grinding uncooked bones, and make stews for them to add to their meals. And we grind up raw chicken legs and feed it raw.
Feeding Frenzy At Chihuahuas Puppies AZ
When we feed our animals in Chihuahua Puppies Arizona, we make a point of feeding each one in their own dish with a diet specifically tailored to their needs. There are some who seem to gain weight quicker than others, and then there are others that seem to need more because they’re so skinny even though they get enough food. When the girls are pregnant, they need a different diet than the average young dog. The seniors also need a different diet due to their age. And, of course, the puppies do too; they need a special diet because they’re still developing.
We Have A Routine Feeding Schedule At Home
We feed the adults twice a day, unless there are pregnant, or puppies those are on their own feeding schedule puppies get fed too heavy meals and dry food all day available and the pregnant females get 3 to 4 smaller meals a day. The way we feed is that everyone has their own spot in the kitchen around the outside of the room and once we filled each dish, we call the dogs and then plays the food dish, walking in a circle calling their names as we place them on the floor, and the dogs are super excited, following us anxiously waiting to have their turn with their dish.
Meeting The Chihuahua Puppies AZ Breeding Line
Our breeding line are all AKC registered, tested for health, and genetically selected for beauty, diversity, and divergent ancestry. Annie is our merle, has beautifully flowing long hair, a mix of brown and black almost like a tortoiseshell pattern. She loves to play, and LOVES Chihuahua puppies. She is our most elegant looking dog. Mookie is a lovable black tricolor. She has yet to meet anyone or anything she doesn’t adore. Our friendliest, and cutest dog. Giovanna, or Gigi, is a light brown, longer legged little merle girl. She is our shyest, but is getting more outgoing as she plays with Lucy, Annie, and Mookie. She has yellowish eyes, which are very distinctive and intriguing.
Welcome Our New Commerce
Our new pets include Charlie, a striking black tricolor stud with dramatic facial features and prominent eyebrows. He adores carrying around his squeaky toy. Next is Snickers, a gorgeous sable Merle with long, flowing fur; her tail is notably long, curling underneath with a delightful flare and captivating eyes. A true explorer at heart, she loves to investigate her surroundings, which sometimes leads to mischief. Then we have Louis Vuitton, known as Loui. A little chocolate tricolor is handsome and loves playing, often engaging with Charlie by playfully biting his tail in a catch me if you can game. And Ruby, is a beautiful black Merle with lovely curly fur, and she enjoys snuggling up.
The Rest Of The Pack At Chihuahua Puppies AZ Home
We also have two other Chihuahua pets. There’s Chico.a Pom-chi, with his striking black and white fur resembling a whirlwind with part of his coat standing straight up as if he had just touched an electric outlet. I believe this quirky trait is from his Pomeranian heritage. He is quite calm and enjoys spending time with me, his “Mom”.Then there’s Mila, my tiniest girl, whom I acquired from a breeder in California. Unfortunately, her situation is quite distressing: the breeder had committed many missteps that should never have been made, and as a result, Mila may never experience a full and healthy life. Born exceptionally small.
Mila Our Smallest Chihuahua
Mila, our smallest Chihuahua that we have was always sickly, it started with the two cherry eyes. And around one, the gastroenteritis started, although there were signs before then where she had episodes of vomiting and bloody diarrhea. We were in and out of Hospitals a lot. I did a DNA test and discovered she has two Exxon 5 gene this is the dwarf gene. She was diagnosed with fluoxetine patella in both lakes, and part of her vertebrae on the lower spine is fusing. They diagnosed her with hip dysplasia and rheumatism on the front shoulder. And if that wasn’t enough, they also found cardiomyopathy, on Mar.2026That doesn’t leave hope for a long healthy life.
Not Much Room For Hope Of A Healthy Life For Mila
The heartbreaking issue surrounding the double dwarf gene in Chihuahuas stems from irresponsible breeders who prioritize profit over health by breeding for smaller sizes. When a Chihuahua inherits two dwarf genes—one from each parent—it results in a body that lacks sufficient space for all the essential organs, causing significant health challenges. Why is this concerning? It leads to complications such as: Potential hypoglycemia, Inadequate room for organs, causing them to struggle to function properly, Improper proportions of certain organs. The range of side effects associated with this condition is extensive, and it is utterly unethical to continue such breeding practices. The animals are truly suffering.
Day To Day At Chihuahua Puppies AZ
All of our Chihuahuas are together during the day where they can play together, lounge on their pillows or chairs (spoiled creatures!), and be with us. At times they are allowed to sit, lie, and climb on us as we watch TV on the couch. They take turns going on errands with Carmen in order to get socialization with other people and places. At night, they sleep in their crates in the dog room, where they stay quiet and warm until breakfast, and the start of the new day. When we have a litter of Chihuahua puppies, they are kept in a separate enclosure right next to the older dogs.
Chihuahuas Are Gonna Chihuahua
Chihuahuas are incredibly intelligent; however, their boldness and confidence can sometimes lead them into precarious situations. They may dodge human feet to avoid being stepped on or run over, yet they fail to grasp the consequences of squeezing into tight spaces, where they might get stuck or risk injury from jumping off higher obstacles. Our Chihuahuas observe the cats as they leap or squeeze through tight spots, attempting to mimic them. They use their paws to reach for items on the other side of the fence. We’ve witnessed some amusing predicaments that our pets have found themselves in, so be prepared to puppy-proof your home before bringing one of these little characters into your life.
